The place for Pagan/Wiccan singles to meet

So, sometimes weird, intuitive connections come to me, the problem is I don't always know exactly how to explain them, but, in some cases I just put out what I know and see what others have to say about it. So here goes. This little blog or whatever deals with snakes, mostly metaphorical ones... Anyway.
So let's start off with the Kabala, I'm sure most of you have at least HEARD of it, part of this practice was assigning numerical equations to words, this was to see if there were any hidden connections between the words, like, for instance, the word Neschek (which is the serpent in the garden of Eden) equals 358, another word that equals 358?... MESSIAH.... SO according to the Cabala the Serpent is the messiah, this coincides with Gnostic beliefs, they did believe that Christ was the Serpent in the garden. This is perfectly reasonable, as the snake shedding it's skin is symbolic of rebirth, and, I'm sure I don't have to point out the obvious connections there... But what does that mean for us?
Well, right now, my "stream of conscious" is moving, thinking of how snake imagery has been a conspicuous part of ancient cultures and shamans, the double snakes of kundalini Ida & Pingala, the twin serpents of the Aztecs, Quetzalcoatl & Tezcatlipoca, The Egyptian Caduceus, the Greeks had Typhon, Africans had Ouroboros, the Hindus had Sesha, and, well you get my drift. Now the thing that serpents, especially twin serpents, remind me of is, DNA, (especially since we use the Caduceus as our "medical symbol") So maybe I could guess that ancient cultures had some sort of "intuitive knowledge" on at least the "shape" of our DNA... but, once again, most would be asking "What does this mean for us?"
Well... here goes.... By connecting the serpent to Christ we thus connect it to what I would call the "Dying God" archetype. and, to me this particular archetype has been poisoned as of late. See, since the advent of Christianity, or, I should say, the post Council of Nicea version of Christianity, we've seen this particular archetype reduced to meaning sacrifice, which is TOTALLY WRONG, it is NOT about sacrifice, but it is about TRANSCENDENCE. I can understand why it's been twisted into this, I mean think about it. If "they" can say "Christ died for your sins, he went to the cross for a higher cause" "they" can then turn to you and say "You too can sacrifice yourself for a higher cause in our wars." NO! The dying god archetype teaches us that we can transcend any stagnant state we may find ourselves in, of course transcendence isn't easy, so we have to "die" (or should I say, shed our skin?) in order to do this.
I tend to think this is a "code" of sorts, connecting the serpent to the messiah, then connecting snake imagery to DNA, would basically say that in certain ways WE ARE our own messiahs, and, as I think of the fact that we have "inactive" DNA, I see how this fits in, not only with our ability to transcend our current daily problems, but, it makes me think that there are great possibilities in our future when it comes to evolution.
